Prabhu Nu Ghar

CM Bhupendra Patel and KP Group CMD Dr. Faruk G. Patel inaugurated world's first old-age home for the physically challenged in Uchediya village, Bharuch, on Feb 19, 2023. Supported by KP Human Development Foundation, it's led by Padmashri awardee Dr. Kanubhai Tailor's Disable Welfare Trust of India. Named 'Prabhu nu ghar,' it'll accommodate 200 inmates on the Narmada's banks.

Foundation stone

CM Shri. Bhupendra Patel and KP Group CMD Dr. Faruk G. Patel laid the foundation stone of the old age home.

Rs 12 crore

The old-age home is estimated to cost Rs 12 crore, and the KP Human Development Foundation will cover the expenses.

Padmashri awardee

It is being set up by the Disable Welfare Trust of India, led by Padmashri awardee Dr. Kanubhai Tailor from Surat.

Included Amenities

The facilities will include: residential building (G+1), dining and health center (G+1), double occupant (G+2), prayer hall, temple, reception, admin (G+1), guest house (G+1), staff quarters (G+1), and cowshed.

Started project at Uchediya village of Jhagadia taluka in Bharuch on February 19, 2023.

Accommodate 200 Inmates

The old-age home, named 'Prabhu nu ghar,' will accommodate 200 inmates and will be located on the banks of the Narmada River.

CMD Dr. Faruk G. Patel pledged further assistance for similar projects in the future.

Project Area

This project is being built on 90,644 square feet of land and has a construction area of 8,421 square meters.
