KPH celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8 in the company of senior female inmates of an old age home and school students.

KP Human Development Foundation sponsored the Haridwar visit of 91 Divyang children of Disable Welfare Trust of India, Surat, along with their caretakers and other staff, in January. The group visited various temples in Haridwar. They also attended the special Ganga Aarti at Haridwar.

Dr. Faruk G. Patel has a special affection for senior citizens. This affection led him to host grand birthday celebrations of two of the oldest inmates of Modheshwari Old Age Home.

Many people mark special occasions in their homes by feeding the poor, but Dr. Faruk G. Patel decided to make his son Affan's marriage with Shaba Amin on August 6 even more special and memorable. The family hosted a lavish lunch at the 5-star Marriott Hotel in Surat, but the guests were not family members or relatives, but 150 special-ly-abled children and 90 old-age home residents.
